Looseheadz is rugby’s mental health charity on a mission to #TackleTheStigma. They aim to save lives by placing a mental health lead in every rugby club around the world, supported by a toolkit of free, accessible resources designed to support players, coaches, and fans alike. As a purpose-driven e-commerce brand with a powerful message, they sell merchandise to fund their work and spread awareness. The project came through a conversation on LinkedIn, and it quickly became a meaningful collaboration — one that aligned perfectly with Invisible Building’s passion for Tech for Good.
The Problem
Looseheadz needed a full redesign of their Shopify website — and fast. Their existing setup was relying on third-party WYSIWYG apps that were due to expire, and the current site design no longer reflected the clarity or ambition of the brand. They needed a better user experience, improved mobile responsiveness, and a simplified structure that could be maintained internally without recurring app costs.
The Solution
Invisible Building delivered a complete redesign and rebuild of the Looseheadz Shopify store within a tight timeframe, completing the project in under a month. Working closely with the team, we removed the dependency on third-party page builders and migrated the site to a clean, fast, and mobile-optimised Shopify theme. The updated design focused on clarity, speed, and ease-of-use—ensuring that their mental health mission remained front and centre while delivering a seamless shopping experience.
The Results
By removing legacy tools and delivering a UX-focused, fully responsive Shopify experience, Looseheadz saw improvements in site speed, user satisfaction, and backend simplicity. More importantly, they gained a website that matched their purpose: easy to navigate, easy to manage, and ready to support their growing global impact in the mental health space.
