Belfast Drone Content with @EverywherewithAngela

Invisible Building partnered with Belfast-based content creator @EverywherewithAngela to capture stunning drone footage of the city. This collaboration powers our Shopify content strategy — from podcast visuals and case studies to branded storytelling rooted in local culture.

We're not just about Shopify stores or slick websites — we’re about building online projects that feel personal, powerful, and rooted in culture. Whether it's design, content, code, or strategy, we care about the full picture, the semiotics, the vibes.

I knew we wanted to work with a local content creator to capture some of Belfast for us, and we chose @EverywherewithAngela to shoot some drone footage for upcoming content projects. We're going to be using the content for podcasts, case studies, and general marketing.

Working with Angela turned into something much bigger than your average service. It became a collaboration built on creativity, vision, and a shared love of Belfast.

I started the project by scouting locations on Google Maps—from the cranes to the Lagan, the Ashby to the Waterfront. I dropped screenshots into Photoshop, recorded a Loom video outlining the locations, and Angela ran with it. She scheduled the shoot around sunny weather, ensured all the proper planning and regulations were in place, and managed to capture Belfast’s golden hour — showing the city exactly how we imagined it. :)

You can already see some of the results live on our Services page. This footage will also be featured in our upcoming podcast, case studies, and branded content. It does more than look good — it captures the energy we feel as a Northern Irish business built in Belfast.

We hope to capture even more in the future — across West Belfast, East Belfast, Lios na gCearrbhach, Donegal, and down south!

The goal was to capture some of Belfast’s most iconic landmarks — not just for pretty shots, but to visually anchor our brand as a Northern Irish business with deep local roots. (Speaking now as David) I'm Belfast-born and regularly work out of Blick Creative Studios when I can. Belfast’s energy, history, and shipbuilding legacy continue to inspire me daily.

I love the brutal yellow concrete of Belfast City Hospital. The Ashby Building on Stranmillis inspired the name “Invisible Building” during a walk one day. And of course, there’s the enduring spirit of the Titanic and H&W Shipbuilders I feel every time I walk through Titanic Quarter.

🌤️ Creator Spotlight: Angela, Drone Pro & Visual Storyteller

Angela didn’t just deliver incredible footage — she promoted the project on social media and added Invisible Building as a collaborator on her Instagram post. That means both of us benefit from more eyes, more engagement, and a more connected creative community.
