David has been attending Refresh Belfast events since the early days in the Black Box and The Stiff Kitten back in 2009 and 2010, long before “UX” and “product design” were everyday terms. These meetups helped shape how a generation of local designers thought about craft, technology, and community — and they still do.
With talks from designers at Google and Mixpanel, alongside local voices like Foresight, REFRESH continues to strike the right balance: accessible, thoughtful, and grounded in real work.
